I bought these amazing cookies for myself and they were absolutely amazing. They are fresh and have the right crunch in every bite that a cookie should have. Truly amazing and tasty.
That cinnamon roll at Edgar's is pure heaven! The dough is perfectly soft with just the right amount of pull, and they don't skimp on the cinnamon sugar swirl. That cream cheese frosting melts into every nook and cranny - absolute perfection. Always worth the morning trip!
Our new favorite bakery here in North Alabama! Their buttercream icing is perfect, and their variety can’t be beat. Their breakfast is also the best we’ve found in the area, which we didn’t expect from a bakery. The service on the morning of 10/28/22 was top notch and much appreciated. My husband and I are not fans of strawberry cake, as typically they’re too sweet or fake berry flavored, but this uniquely made one won us over. I personally prefer the standard yellow cake with white buttercream, but you can’t go wrong with the red velvet, Italian cream, or carrot cake. The thumbprint and wedding cookies are also very good and ridiculously well priced. I love that there are individual cake slices available in the most popular flavors, and look forward to ordering full cakes for the holidays.
This was my first experience with the bakery. The night before after dinner I stopped by because I heard so much about the strawberry cake. I saw the strawberry cake but then I noticed the caramel cupcake and couldn't decide. I asked the guy behind counter if they used the same ingredients for the cupcakes and cakes and he affirmed they did. So, I opted for the caramel and strawberry cupcakes. I had no plans to eat all of them both, but when I say that they were delicious... that's an understatement. I think it depends on your palate, but the caramel cupcake was the winner, for me. Only, because I don't like overly sweet desserts and that strawberry is very sweet. I then decided that I'd check them out for brunch when I saw they stopped serving breakfast at 2 pm on Saturdays. I didn't know what I wanted for brunch because the choices were so good. I decided on the Breakfast Handheld Ham & Bacon Cheddar Biscuit, Breakfast Potatoes and the Bacon Cinnamon Roll. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING was delicious. I took the bacon cinnamon roll to go, but I tasted a piece of it and was not disappointed. Oh, and let me say the staff was very helpful, accommodating and friendly. We opted to sit outside for brunch and the atmosphere was amazing. The weather this time of year was a definite plus. I'm 100% positive that I'll be back during my next trip to Huntsville to try some of the other items on the menu. 👍🏾👍🏾 up....
I love the spicy eggavo sandwich. It's egg cheese avocado on a toasted thin jalapeño bread. And the dessert items look so delicious, I will definitely be trying the strawberry cake at some point.
Overall was surprised because the prices for the meals were/are very reasonable as for the drinks they are what you expect close to Starbucks prices. So if looking for some good breakfast will suggest it just maybe choice your own drinks from home or no coffee since that will easily bring the meal price up. Loved the food choices and staff friendly.
This place is dangerous going to. They have samples all the time of various pastries to try, their breakfast is delicious, and their actual baked good are amazing. I suggest trying their cinnamon rolls and their cake slices.
I ordered a custom birthday cake from Edgar’s for a 20-year-old’s birthday, and it was absolutely perfect! We went with chocolate cake and chocolate frosting, topped with fun confetti decorations—it looked great and tasted even better. The cake was rich, moist, and full of flavor. Everyone at the party loved it and kept asking where it was from. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a delicious and well-made custom cake!
